To provide personnel with ‘hands-on’ practical and theory knowledge to be able to safely Work at Heights and perform a range of basic rescue techniques suited towards offshore Platforms and Drill Rigs.
On completion of the course the participants should be able to:
∗ Identify important safety considerations for performing work at height
∗ Recognize the hazards associated with working at heights
∗ Identify the potential consequences if these hazards are not properly addressed
∗ Describe precautions to be taken before and during work performed at height
∗ Describe required actions to prevent incidents
∗ How to identify if the current Rescue System meets your Rescue requirement
